Bonus Terms Explained
Confused by wagering requirements, rollover conditions, and sticky bonuses? This plain-English guide decodes the jargon so you know exactly what you're signing up for before you claim any offer.

1. Wagering / Rollover Requirement
This tells you how many times you need to bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings derived from it. The higher the multiplier, the longer before you can cash out.
Example: You receive an RM100 bonus with a ×15 wagering requirement. That means you must place a total of RM1,500 in bets before any winnings become withdrawable. A ×20 requirement on the same bonus would require RM2,000 in total wagers.
2. Maximum Bet During Bonus
Most bonuses impose a cap on how much you can stake per bet while using bonus funds. Exceeding this limit can result in your bonus being voided — even if you've already met the wagering requirement.
Example: A typical pace88 promotion may cap single bets at MYR 250–MYR 500 when your balance includes active bonus funds. Always check the specific promotion's fine print for the exact figure.
3. Game Contribution Rate
Not all game types count equally toward clearing a wagering requirement. Slot games typically contribute 100%, while table games such as blackjack or roulette may contribute only 10%–20% of each bet placed.
Example: A RM50 slot spin counts RM50 toward your rollover. A RM50 baccarat hand might only count RM5–RM10 — meaning clearing a bonus purely through table games takes significantly longer.
4. Bonus Expiry Window
Bonuses come with an expiry date. If you haven't met the wagering requirement within that window, the bonus and any bonus-derived winnings are forfeited. Common windows are 7, 14, or 30 days from the date of credit.
Example: A welcome bonus credited on the 1st with a 14-day expiry must be fully wagered before the 15th — regardless of whether you've been playing every day.
5. Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A non-sticky (cashable) bonus is added to your real-money balance and can be withdrawn once wagering is complete. A sticky bonus acts as play credit only — it cannot itself be withdrawn, but any winnings generated from it can be, subject to the cashout cap.
Example: With a sticky RM100 bonus, if you build your balance to RM350, you can withdraw RM250 (the net winnings) but the RM100 bonus chip disappears on withdrawal.
6. Maximum Cash-Out Cap
Some promotions limit the total amount you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings, regardless of how much you actually won. This cap is usually stated as a fixed MYR figure or a multiple of the bonus amount.
Example: A bonus with a 3× max cashout on an RM100 deposit bonus means the most you can ever withdraw from that promotion is RM300 — even if your actual winnings exceeded RM1,000 during play.
